Author Alan Riding died in Paris on June 6. He was a longtime Le Korsa supporter and a dear friend.
Alan Riding—a man of rare heart, charm, erudition, and compassion—died in Paris on June 6. The generous spirit with which he taught schoolgirls in Tambacounda, his lively and insightful writing, and his gift for friendship, were extraordinary. We will miss him greatly.
