In 2015, the garden you see below was an untended hectare of land in Sinthian.

Sinthian's Women's Garden.

Now, thanks to the hard work of over 120 women, and the bore-well and training provided by Le Korsa, it’s the bread basket of the village and a shady refuge during the hottest part of the year. It is a testament to how small investments can drastically improve people’s lives in rural Senegal.

Le Korsa has helped fund and organize gardens in Fass, Dialico, and Gadapara, each of which immediately brings more food and income to the families in these villages.

Weighing the harvest in Gadapara.

We couldn’t do it without you. As we go into another summer, we hope you will help make more of these gardens possible by making a donation.
