American Friends of Le Korsa
88 Beacon Road
Le Korsa is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works with dedicated doctors, teachers, and students in Senegal to improve human lives.
How will my donation be used?
All of the donations we receive go directly to our partners in Senegal, where the funds are used to dig wells, buy medicine and medical equipment, purchase seeds and agricultural tools, furnish classrooms with academic supplies, or build and outfit schools and hospitals.
What is Legacy Giving?
Legacy gifts are a powerful way to provide for the future of Le Korsa and its beneficiaries and to ensure that your values live on. A legacy gift is a planned future donation that comes from your estate, or a donor you represent. This can include bequests, endowment gifts, stock transfers, charitable gift annuities, property, charitable remainder trusts, life insurance policies, or anything that you feel would help further our mission.
How do I make a legacy gift?
Making a legacy gift is as simple as planning ahead. One easy way is to list Le Korsa as the beneficiary of a pension, retirement plan, or even one or more bank accounts. Other ways include listing a specific bequest in your will. Your financial advisor can suggest a range of giving options and help you plan in the most effective way.
What are the tax benefits to planned giving?
Tax benefits vary on how you give and your personal financial situation. Speaking with your financial advisor or estate lawyer can clarify the specifics for your situation and gift.
Where do I start?
